From sourcing to processing
For us, animal welfare does not begin with the finished product, but with the careful selection of our suppliers. We work with established, audited partners and apply clear criteria for housing, transport, and processing. Independent inspections, short transport routes, and transparent processes ensure that responsibility remains more than just a promise.
Our commitment:
We do not see animal welfare as a trend, but as part of our responsibility. Together with our partners, farmers, customers, and guests, we aim to find a practical and reasonable path forward.
As a family-owned company based in Westphalia, we take responsibility for animal welfare throughout the entire supply chain. In conventional livestock farming, we consciously focus on measurable improvements and long-term partnerships. Through careful supplier selection and regular in-house inspections, we actively promote animal welfare. All meat suppliers are personally visited, audited, and continuously evaluated.
We place particular emphasis on short transport routes: the pigs we source are transported live for an average distance of only around 60 kilometers. This reduces stress for the animals and creates reliable conditions for responsible quality.

Medication monitoring
We improve animal welfare in conventional livestock farming and offer a product range with higher standards.
Our pork and chicken meet Housing Form 2 standards, providing more space, enrichment materials, and stricter controls.
All stages – from feed to farmer to processing – are independently monitored.
In addition, we offer a selected organic range for the highest demands.
We constantly offer a selection from our animal welfare product range for you! From schnitzel and meatballs to organic Bolognese and chicken breast. You can also find more information in our catalogue.
In the organic sector, animal welfare is consistently at the forefront. At the same time, organic also means responsible stewardship of the environment and natural resources – from soil and water to air and biodiversity. Anyone aiming to implement a sustainably oriented food concept will find the right foundation in our organic range.
For those who wish to gradually further develop their animal welfare standards, we offer additional solutions: we are happy to support kitchens that voluntarily commit to higher animal welfare standards in cooperation with the European Chicken Commitment. Together, we develop an individual roadmap – from entry-level solutions with our animal welfare range through to a consistent organic alignment.
